RIFLE SHOOTING.
TRENTHAM MEETING. By Telegraph—Press Association. TRENTHAM, March 8. Shooting began at Trentham, at 8 o'clock this morning, UDder favourable weather conditions, save that a left rear wind, somewhat tricky, tended to affect the scoring. The morning squads in the championship firing had all the best of it, for the wind freshened up in th« afternoon, and the scoring boards showed a decided falling off in marksmanship. The shooting was good all round at the 500 yards stngs of the Wellington Match.
