Russia will send half a sotnia of Cossacks to Resht, a town in Persia lying to the south-east of the Caspian Sea, and situated on an important trade route from the Persian interior to Russia m Europe. A recent cable message from Tehsran stated that the revoultionaries at Resht were laying mines and eracting fcr.ideations along the road to Russia. The trouble in Resht commencad some weeks ago.
