MASTER OF ARTS DEGREE.
A PROPOSAL DEFEATED. Received March 5, 9 a.m. LONDON, March 4. The Congregation of Oxford University, by 136 votes to 108, defeated a proposal to abolish the present easy system of obtaining the degree of Master of Arts.
