WANGANUI SUPREME COURT.
By Telegraph—Press Association. WANGANUI, March 5. The Supreme Court was occupied all day hearing the case in which Charles Baker was charged with counselling another to commit a crime. A short time ago two men were caught in an attempt to burgle the Economic. One had in his possession a letter'which contained instructions as to the use of gelignite in blowing up a safe. This letter was written by accused. A verdict of guilty was returned late to night, but an appeal will be lodged, as the case is the first of its kind tried in New Zealand.
