MASTERTON HOMING PIGEON CLUB.

RACE FROM WOODVILLE. The Masterton Homing Pigeon Club flew a young bird race from Woodville yesterday. Eight lofts sent twenty-eiiht biris. The weather was favourable, and a splendid velocity was the result, the winning bird doing the distance in 65 minutes, or at the rate of 1,211 yards per minute. The other placed birds' times were almost as good, and numbers generally were pleased wi'h the performances of their birds, f- rF. ij. itosson acted ai judge, and the following is the result: — Mr W.
