RIOTS IN LISBON.
CALLOUS MASQUERADERS. POLICE STONED BY MOBS. MILITARY CALLED OUT. MANY PERSONS WOUNDED, • Received March i, 9 a»m> ~l LISBON, February 28. Two hundred arrests were made during a carnival at Lisbon. Mobs joined the masqueraders, and stoned the police for interfering with revellers who were impersonafcI ing the late King Carlos, the late Crown Prince, and their assassins, and also simulating the obsequies of the King and Prince. Coffins and skeletons were carried by the masqueraders, and blasphenr.ous songs were sung. The military were called oisfc and helped to quell the disturbance. Many persons were wounded.
