THE MAKINO SHEEP DIP.
One of the best sheep dips on *he. market is the "Makino." It promotes the growth of wool and leaves it in a bright lustrous state. • On page 3 of this issue it is notified that Mr 11. W. Scott, dispensing and veterinary chemist, of Pulmerston North, has bought the sole rights of manufacture of this dip from Messrs Holden and Nicholas. Owing to the ill-health of Mr Nicholas last year, many farmers in this district were unable to procure the Makino dip, and it was thought that its manufacture had ceased. Under Mr Scott's able supervision, however, farmers will in future be able to get it in any quantity, and if it is not procurable from local agents, will pay freight on all parcels sent from Palmerston North. Ihis dip only costs £1 per thousand sheep, which makes it one of the lowest priced on the market. It is used by many of the leading sheep breedeis throughout the Dominion, and their testimonials refer to its merits in the very highest terms.
