SUMMER SHOW.

The Summer Show of the Walrarapa Horticultural *nd Industrial Society was held on Saturday afternoon at Carterton, and was a decided success. In many of the classes there was keen competition, and the judges', Messrs W. Poole, of Wellington and E Hale, of Masterton, considered them excellent, especially the decorative classes. It was rather late for roses but nevertheless some good specimens were shown, the prize for the best rose in the room being won by Mr A. Booth, of Hawarden, Gladstone.
