A CUTE IDEA.

SSSBWIING CHINESE INTO AUSTRALIA. A.PROFITABLE SYSTEM. SYDNEY, February 27. There is little doubt that large numbers of Chinese are smuggled into Australia, and that the system of conducting operations is making large profits for the agents of the system, who. it is reported, have boasted that 2,000 were smuggled into Australia last year. As each Chinese pays the system about £125, the receipts would have amounted to a quarter of a million. The system is to purchase naturalisation papers at prices wnging from £6 to £ls, and these are sent to China for the use of those to be smuggled in. Twelve young Chinese have been -arrested for possessing the naturaliisafcw papers of old Chinase. Those .arrested are to be deported.
