(Frcm Our Own Correspondent). Friday. The Presbyterian bazaar had a very successful day on Thursday last, tbe-takin&a were about £SO. An excellent entertainment was provided by the minstrel troupe, which was very much appreciated. The bazaar closes this, Friday evening. The Eketahuna Mounted Rifle? paraded on Thursday afternoon under Captain Page. The squadron were exercised in field evolutions by Captain Page, Lieut. Farmer and Sergeants Potts and Doyle. In the poultry classes at the Woodville Show a Jocal fancier, Mr Leslie, sent one bird, a coclcerel, to (he Show, and secured a first prize. Mr McLean. Secretary for the Farmers' Union Show, is receiving excellent entries for th? field event?. Fine warm weather still prevails, and residents are anxiously watching ttyeir tanks as water is inclined to become scarce. The crops and grass are looking well, as heavy dews are falling each night;
