AGRARIAN OFFENCES. STATEMENT BY HON, A. BIRRELL. Received February 23, 9 ai.m. LONDON, February 22. In the House of Commons, the Chief Secretary for Ireland, the Right Hon. A. Birrell, in reply to Mr J. B. Lonsdale, member for MidArmagh, said there had been 576 agrarian offences in Ireland in 1908, and 372 in 1907.
