NEW SOUTH WALES FIGURES. Received February 22, 11.50 p.tn. SYDNEY, February 22. The number of horses in New South Wales at the end of fast year was 472,534 —a decrease of 931 as compared with the previous year. The number of cattle was 2,414,825 —an increase of 99,023; and sheep 41,531,000 —a decrease of 1,248,000. The increase in the number of cattle is attributed to the develoment of closer settlement and tne decrease in the number of sheep, is principally the result of the drought.
