MISHAPS TO STEAMERS.

By Telegraph—Press Association. DUNEDIN, February 21. Some anxiety was felt to day at the non-arrival of the Manuka, which was due here about daylight. At a late hour to-night she ai'rived off the Heads, with a vessel supposed to be a steamer in tow, and accompanied by the Waipori, which had been sent to search for her. The vessels anchored outside the Heads, and will not come in until morning. The identity of the vessel which was picked up is not known. N The Ulimaroa struck Quarantine Island coming up the Harbour, on Saturday, and damaged several plates. She will probably be sent to Lyttelton for docking, and the Talune will likely take up the running, leaving for Melbourne on Monday night.
