MATTERS OF POLICY. ADVERTISING TASMANIA. AIDING THE LAND WORKERS. Received February 19. 9.30 a.m. HOBART, February 19. The Premier (the Hon. J. W. Evans), in a policy speech, said he placed adherence by the Federal Parliament to the conditions upon which federation was accomplished in the foremost place of his programme. He said he intended to vigorously advertise the island with a view to aiding the land workers. An endeavour would be made to turn the limitless water supply to profitable account, in the h.Qp§ that manufactorips WQ'Jld b? established.
