PERSONAL.
Mr S. R. Edwards, who is talcing up a position in Wellington, has been presented with a silver sovereign case by the members of St. Matthew's Club. Mr Edwards has iaen treasurer to the Club for a number of years. Miss Blomquist, who has been for some time past assistant teacher at the Te Ore Ore School, and who has been transferred to the Karangahape School, was entertained at a farewell social by a number of friends last evening.
