In connection with the disastrous fire at the Flores Theatre, Acapulco, Mexico, which resulted, it is estimated, in the loss of at least three hundred persons, it transpires that all the exits in the facade were near the main entrance.

The greatest loss of life occurred when, the roof fell, stifling the screams and groans of the struggling, panic-stricken audience.
