A DEMONSTRATION. Received February 15, 9 a.m. LONDON, February 14. A Church-Socialist League "demon- : stration was held in Trafalgar square. The speakers included, be i les several other clergymen, the uev. ' Dr. Clifford, and a large number of Non-comf r.nisc ministers. Speakers urged the Government to take immediate steps to compel Mr j •John Burns (President of the Local Government Board), to distribute money voted for the unemployed, and also dema ided that Parliament should make the question of work, or - maintenance with training, the first ■.business of the session.
