STOCK MARKET.
Messrs Dalgety and Co. report as follows on their weekly sale at Eketahuna on Friday: —We had fair yarding of sheep, but very few cattle. Sheep did not sell up to last week's values, although we sold our whole yarding. We quote: . Full-mouth ewes from 9s to lis 6d, 4 tooth to f. m. ewes 12s 9d to 13s;, lambs 7s 6d, 8s 9d to 9s, rams 1 to 2f guineas, fat cows £3 2s 6d to £3 15s. Mt;ssrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd. 1 report on their Eketahuna sale held nn Friday:—Not quite all stock advertised came forward, our yarding consisting chiefly of ewes. With the exception of two pens, we made a tota\ clearance of sheep at prices not quite up to those of the previous sale. We quote:—Wethers lis 6d to lis Bd, ewes (best) 9s 9d to lis 4d, others 7s 6d to 8s 6d, culls 3s. Cattle, forward cows to 70s, empty heifers 41s, mixed weaners 15s. Pigs, weaners 13s to 15s.
