OTAGO v. CANTERBURY. By Telegraph—Press Association. DUNEDIN, February 13. The cricket match, Otago v, Canterbury, was continued to-day, in splendid weather, and on a good wicket. The home team, which lost five wickets for 50 yesterday, continued their first innings, but made a poor stand, the innings closing for 77. Humphreys captured five wickets for 36, and Bennett 4 for 15. Canterbury commenced their second innings about noon, and remained at the wickets until a few minutes before 6 oMock, scoring 259. Reese batted splendidly for 77, as did Anthony for 42, Humphreys for 38, and 'Sims for 20. The most successful bowlers Lr Otago were Fisher 3 for 55, Torpancc 4 for 90, and Ayles 1 for 1. In their second innings Otago have scored 8 without losing a wicket. The home team still reqbire 381 runs to win.
