AUSTRALIA v. REST OF AUSTRALIA. Received February 12, 10 p.m. 1 MELBOURNE, February 12. The second match, Australia v. Rest of Australia, was commenced to-day in fine weather. The wicket was excellent. Once set Bardsley gave a brilliant and vigorous display, and scored off everything, despite numerous changes of bowling. Ranpford and McArtney played lively and forceful cricket. Scores:—* AUSTRALIA. First Innings.
