MULLAH'S FOLLOWERS SHELLED. PROTECTION OF FRIENDLY NATIVES. Received February 11, 9 a.m. LONDON, February 10. Owing, to one of the thp tribes imploring the cruiser Philomel's protection, the cruiser shelled and dispersed the Somaliland Mullah's followers, and thereby dispelled a growing belief tnat Great Britain did not intend to protect the friendly natives.
