All events post entry, excepting Castlepoint Cup, nominations for which close on 10th February, 1909. Handicaps declared on Wednesday, 17th February. 2. Entrance fee 5 per cnit on full amount of stake. 3. No horse allowed to start for district race without being three months in the district prior to meeting. 4. The following are the boundaries of the district—The Waimata on the North, Pongaroaand Tawataiatoll gate to Bideford on the West, and Taueru, Waihora and Whareama on the South. 5. Minimum weight in handicaps 9st, except Ladies' Bracelet. (i. A. Hack is a horse which at any time prior to entry has not won a race of the value of 100 sovs to the winner, or laces to the aggregate value of 250 sovs to the winner. 7. No 3 District Race.
