RONGOKOKAKO NOTES.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) Tuesday. The directors of the Cheese Factory have decided to advance 10d per lb for milk supplied during January, amounting to 374,6541b5. The amount to be paid will total £612 lGs Bd. The Company shipped 140 cases of cheese last week. Next week's shipment will he 120 cases. Mr B. Morriss has erected a very substantial and serviceable dip on his property. The dip, which is 16 feet long, 5 feet deep, and 4 feet wide, is constructed of brick, with a facing of concrete. The entry and exit are both at one. end. the sheep swimming around a hurdle fixed in the centre, the blind end of the dip being rounded for the purpose. A spring is tapped within a few feet of the well to which a force pump is connected, tnakinz.it a very easymatter to fill the dip. In connection with the two trophies given for a committeemen's race at the recent picnic, one has been won by Mr Parsons and the other by Mr Henderson.
