RUNAWAY TRUCKS.

A PLUCKY GUARD. By Telegraph—Press Association. DUNEDIN, February 8. Two laden trucks got away in some unexplained manner from the Caversham station, and came down the incline on the main line at a tremendous pace, and ran into Dunedin station at about twenty miles an hour. Guard Stevens pluckily jumped on to the trucks, and succeeded in lowering the breaks. No damage was done.
