A DENIAL.
(To the Editor). Sir, —Will you kindly allow me to deny a statement which is being circulated in Masterton. To-day, I was informed that certain persons had stated that I worked hard for the No-License cause, as I considered it would benefit me. Now, Sir, I never identified myself in any way with the No-License Party, nor did I express to any one howl should vote, nor how they should. It does not aeem enough tor some people to know that the carrying of No-License means ruin to my business, they must go further by circulating, absolutely false reports. I freely admit thfjt 1 was incorrectly informed that No'-Licen«e would not affect me, and I have repeated this information. I shall be pleased if one or more of your readers who were prominent supporters of No License will come forward and substantiate this denial. Thanking you iri anticipation of the publication of this letter. —1 am, etc., W. G. LAMB. Masterton, February Bth, 1909.
