CHRISTCHURCH SUPREME COURT.

At the Supreme Court to-day the case in which William James pleaded not guilty to a charge of having broken and entered a butcher's shop at Addington, having stolen a loin of mutton, was partly heard. Richard Walter Walburton, aged 60 years, was found guilty of the theft of clothing from the Caversham Hotel, and was sentenced to six months' imprisonment.
