Friday,
The Rev. B. H. Ginger, Methodist Minister at Woodville, and formerly of Carterton, arrived here this afternoon on a brief holiday.
Bro. J. Hart, who at present holds the V.G. chair of Loyal Heart of Oak Lodge, held the same position thirty

Sparks, of Wairoa, Hawke's Bay, were visitors to Carterton yesterday afternoon. They left for Wellington this morning, and will spend a few days in Carterton on their return journey to Wairosi.
I;i thj opening shoot, under tne auspices of the local Rifle Volunteers, for a trophy presented by the W.F.C.A., Corporal Lawrence headed the list, with a score of 61, Private Hall being next with 53.
There is some talk of another medical practitioner commencing practice here.
