WELLINGTON SUPREME COURT.
By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, February 4. At the Supreme Court, to-day, Norman Fraser was found guilty of stealing two bottles of beer and remanded for sentence. E. J. Searl, who was yesterday convicted of forgery, was further remanded .for sentence lill next Wednesday, the probation officer to report in the meantime. Joseph Delich, alias Dante, was convicted of stealing a bicycle and sentenced to 18 mo*iths' hard labour. John Pechugin and Stephen Nicholsen, young men, pleaded not guilty to a charge of assaulting a Chinese ;in Wellington. The case was nor concluded when the Court rose. WELLINGTON, hksi Night. Norman Fraser, for stealing two bottles of beer, was sentenced later in the day to three years' imprisonment.
