The anniversary services in connection v«:ith the Wesleyan Church, on Sunday, will be taken bv Mr Pendray at 11 a.m., and Mr Gibb, at 7 p.m. A social is to be held on Tuesday evening next. The first games of the Eketahuna Tennis Club Tjurnament were played on Thursday afternoon, and resulted as follows: Men's Champion Singles. Toohill beat Greathead, 6 —l, •6 -2. Tumor beat Oldridge, 6—3, 6—5. Men's Handicap Doubles. Bray and McKenzie beat Page and Wright, 70—61. Ladies' Champion Singles. M3ss Toohill beat Miss Seymour, 9—l. Men's Handicap Singles. Fish beat White, 50 —47. The Eketahuna Mounted Rifles continued trophy shooting on Thursday afternoon. The following were the leading scores:— 200 yds. 600 yds. Hdp. T1 Corp.
