THE SPANISH NAVY.
COMPANY FORMED TO BUILD SHIPS. Received February 5, 9 a.m. MADRID, February 4. Spanish engineering and banking firms have formed a company, with eight million pounds of capital, whereof 60 per cent, will be reserved for Spanish investors, to build warships at Ferrol and Cartagena, in connection wherewith Government contracts go to Vickers, Sons, and Maxim, John Brown, Armstrongs, and Thornycrofts.
