The "Morninjr Post" warns intending emigrants to disregard the Newcastle (New South Wales) Labour Council's communication to the Parlia mentary Labour ComrnitLee Council, which represents that labour greatly exceeds the demand, and that men of all ranks are earning a precarious livelihood undertaking work for which they are not fitted. The communication protests against the Government negotiating with the Salvation Army in r?gard to emigrants. The. "Morning Post" asserts that emigration is lconducted in the best possible way by persons compelled to consider the laws of supply and demand, and considers that the efforts of the Newcastle Labour Council will retard economic progress and are unjustifiable.
