"THE RED MILL." | To-night at the Town Hail, Mr J. C. Williamson will present the musical comedy in two acta, "The Red Mill," interpreted by the New Musical Comedy Company, possibly the most adequate and complete organisation that has ever appeared in this branch of the dramatic art in New Zealand. "The Red Mill" is a combination of bright music, eccentric dancing, gorgeous scenery and CQstumes, and the strong cast submitted, including John Ford, Charles Loder, and other important and imported artists, with the addition of Fred Leslie, Edward Sherras, Olive Godwin, Marie Eaton, Ivy Scott, and many other established favourites are the prime factors that are heavily rcpsonsibl" for the attracting power of this unique production. To adequately present this striking musical' play, Mr J. C, Williamson has bent to New Zealand the complete and original Company of 100 artists direci from a six months training in Melbourne and Sydney. The box plan is now open at Miss Hive's.
BURNS-JOHNSON PICTURES. Those who have seen the moving pictures of the content 'in Sydney on Boxing Day of the Burns-Johnson contest, state that they give a very different impression to the majority of the written descriptions. Masterton patrons*will be able to see for themselves at the Town Hall next Monday night. These pictures aro being shown in every State in the Commonwealth, and Mr Mcintosh, ;the promoter of the contest, and sole owner of the picture rights, is on his way to London with several copies. Lord and Lady Dudley attended a public performance at the Town Hall, Melbourne, which was packed on every occasion they were shown there. The box plan is now open at Miss Rive's.
