"SALOON SMASHER."
APPEARS.AT A MUSIC HALL. A LIVELY RECEPTION. Received January 27, 8.30 a.m. LONDON, January 26. Mrs Carrie Nation, the American "Saloon Smasher," appeared on the stage at the Canterbury Music Hall, in London. The audience abruptly stopped her "turn," pelting her with rotten eggs and drenching her with water.
