AMATEUR ATHLETICS.

By Telegraph—Preps Association. CHRISTCHURCH, January 25. At a meeting of the Canterbury Centre of the Amateur Athletic Association to-night a letter was received from the Otago Amateur Athletic Association stating that it could not accept the "championships" offered by the former council, as it had agreed to run the "championships" offered by the Wellington Council on March 20th. The Canterbury Centre agreed to accept the "championships" offered by the Christchurch Council, and will hold a meeting to decide them on March 20th.
