By Telegraph—Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, January 25. Advice was received this morning from the Bealey that three inches of rain had fallen during the la-it 24 hours, and that it was still raining. Xhe river was very high, and the probabilites are that the coach passengers from the West Coast will not get through to-day. The rainfall for the 24 hours up to 9.0 a.m. to-day as recorded at the observatory was 0.902 inches. There was a verj high tide in the estuary this morning at New Brighton, the water running over the road near the entrance to Wonderland. Selton's Island was badly flooded.
