"THE RED MILL."

The J. C. Williamson Musical Comedy Company, comprising, it is said, over one hundred members, will appear at the Town Hall on Friday next, January 29th, when will be produced the Dutch musical play in two acts entitled "The Red Mill." This play, recently the success ol the year in Australia, has been described as the best since the "Belle of New York," and is universally acknowledged as being head and shoulders above any musical comedy that has been produced for many years* Nothing funnier and cleverer has been witnessed, it is said, than the wonderful dancing and delightfully humourous fooling of Mr John Foidt —a comedian of high reputation in America. Fred Leslie, the "Kid Conner" of the play is strongly as« sociated with Mr Ford. Mr Charles Loder will appear as "Willem"—a dutch character part that he is said to have mada his own. An old favourite is Mr Pe v cy Denton, who will also appear in an important assisted by such acknowledged artists as Mr Edward Sherras, Mr Pat Bathurst, Miss Olive Godwin, Miss Ivy Scott and Miss Marie Eaton. The box plan will be opened at Miss Rive's to-morrow (Tuesday).
