ANTI-JAPANESE LEGISLATION.
Received January 24, 4.45 p.m. SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 23. The Chamber of Commerce Committee, which recently visited Japan, have unanimously petitioned the State Leginlature to defeat the antiJaparsese Bills. The Committee states that they are convinced of the absolute good faith of the Mikado and Government .regarding the restriction of immigration to the United States.
