THE AQUATIC CARNIVAL.
ANTICIPATIONS FOR A SPLENDID GATHERING. rfti v Very busy indeed have been the officials of the Aquatic Carnival for the past few days. What with arranging the multitudinous details around the Park Lake itself, in the way of charting out the swimminc course, erecting barriers, and the providing of the paraphernalia Lidispensable to a well-conducted water carnival, in addition to a large amount of clerical work in connection with the programmes, handicaps, etc, there has been ! ample for willing hands to do. The Lake has been very materially enlarged since last Carnival, and a great many improvements of a substantial character effected, which will very appreciably make for the better enjoyment and comfort cf patrons to the 'gathering.
