SEVERE FIGHTING AT DRESDEN. ATTEMPT TO STORM KING'S PALACE. POLICE REPULSE SOCIALISTS. OVER ONE HUNDRED PERSONS WOUNDED. Received January 19, 5.20 a.m. LONDON, January 18. The "Standard's" Dresden correspondent reports that five thousand Socialists, after a meeting held for ths purpose of demanding univei'sal suffrage, attempted to storm the King's palace in Dresden. After severe fighting, the mounted police reyuisid the Socialists, wounding twenty-four persons severely ar d seventy-nine slightly. Twenty arrests have been made.
