NUMBER OF CANDIDATES INCREASING. \ By Telegraph—Press Association. THAMES, January 18. The number of candidates for the Thames by-election is increasing. The candidates consist of Messrs Lucas, Government and Labour; Haselden, Opoosition; Deeble, Opposition; Taylor, Government and Prohibition. ; and Rhodes, Government and freehold. The candidates are now touring the electorate. The election will'take place on 28th inst.
