THE NAVY LEAGUE.
BRANCH FORMED IN NEW PLYMOUTH. By Telegraph—Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, January 18. At a meeting on Saturday night, attended by Lieutenant Knox and Mr Pjalmer, of Wellington, a Taranaki branch of the. Navy League was formed. The Governor will be asked to become patron. Mr Lisch, mayor of New Plymouth, was elected President, and the vice-presidents will be elected from the whole of the district. About thirty members were enrolled, Captain C. T. Mills being secretary.
