Mr J. C. Boddington reports that the rainfall registered at Upper Plain for the 24 hours proceeding 9 a.m. on Sunday was 7 points. v By Telegraph—Press Association. ' ' WELLINGTON, January 18. The following is Captain Edwin's weather forecast to 3 p.m. tomorrow :—Strong southerly winds northward uf Napier and New Plymouth, strong to gale from the same direction elsewhere, probably with rain.
