SECRET SERVICE MONEY.

WHAT CONGRESS VOTED LAST YEAR. NEW YORK, January 15. The United States Congress in 1908 appropriated nearly a million and a-half sterling for secret service work. The total appropriation for the purpose of prosecuting and preventing frauds on various branches of the public service exceeded £4,700,000.
