FIGHT IN WEST AFRICA.
GERMAN OFFICER DANGEROUSLY WOUNDED. ' Received January 13, 8.36 a.m. BERLIN, January 12. Additional particulars in conri..ctijn with the conflict between Munshi tribesmen and members of the Anglo-German Boundary Commissions engaged in delimiting the frontier between Southern Nigeria and the Cameroons, show that the "'fight occurred at Sonkwalla, eighty miles in the hinterland of Calabar. Reinforcements were easily summoned. Lieutenant Stephans, German 'Commissioner, was dangerously wounded. The British and German losses were five men killed and nineteen wounded.
