IN A PERILOUS POSITION. PASSENGERS SAFELY LANDED. Received January 14, 1 a.m. SYDNEY, January 13. The Newcastle and Hunter River Company's new steamer Karuah is ashore on Stockton Beach. The position is perilous. The passengers were landed safely.
