FEVER ON A VESSEL.
JK_ __ CAPTAIN AND MATE DEAD. Received January 11, 10.2 a.m. SYDNEY, January 11. The schooner Eugenie, from the Solomon Islands, has reached Cape Hawkos. Her captain, Mr Gordon, died from malarial fever, and the mate, Anderson—the only other white man on board—succumbed to fever and the effects of a very rough passage, after getting in a crew of islanders, who were untouched by the fever.
