WELLINGTON WOOL SALESMessrs Abraham and Wiiliam?! Ltd., report as follows on their wool ;ale at Wellington:—The third _ sale )f the series was held on Friday, when record catalogues comprising 20,000 bales were offered to a large attendance of buyers representing Home and Continental houses. Our :atalogue comprised an offering of aver 2,000 bales, a great deal of which was heavy in condition and off new country. This class of wool, with the brighter coarse wools sold very well indeed, and prices were fully up to last sale's rates. It was in the better class of wools that any change in prices was apparent. Bright free wools not realising within a halfpenny per lb. of prices' ruling at last sales. This was generally accounted for by the absence of American competition. Lambs' wool was in fair demand, and all bright good length wool brought good value. Our highest price for lambs was B|d. Competition for the lower sorts of wool, bellies, pieces, etc., was keen, and prices were at a good level. We gold a big proportion of our catalogue under the hammer, and expect to quit further lines at passed-in prices. Some of our sales comprised the following brands:— Ringahura, 5 bales, A hoggeis, 9Jd; 6 bales, B hoggets, 8d; 6 bales, A ewes, 7£d; I bales, pieces, s|d; W over Ferneaf, 43 bales of bright, free crossbred, at 8d; 19 bales, hoggets, at s|d; 7 bales, lambs', 6£d; HS over Dtimai, 26 bales, iog-stained, at JJd; KJC, over Kara, 19 bales, nedium crossbred, 7fd; 3 bales, ambs', B£d; RC over O, 11 bales, nedium crossbred, 7d; 8 under eye>row, 6 bales, Southdown, B£d; COG iver, 43 bales, coarse crossbred, !Jd; RKP, 5 balea, bright medium Tossbred, 7Jd; EL over S, .19 bales, nedium crossbred, 7£d; NWI, 20 >ales, medium crossbred 7d; 2 lambs',
