Hurdles—Mozart 1, Quebec 2, Loch&rd 3. Won by three lengths. Welter Handicap—Welcast 1, Gipsy Queen 2, Sweet Marie 3. Won by half a length. Cup—Manapouri 1, Kaitangata 2, Quebec 3. Won by a length. Time, Irnin 55 l-ssec. Settlers' Handiciap—Regain 1, Discoverer 2, Denbies 3. Publicans' Purse—Jolly Tar 1, Nervine 2, Sweet Marie 3. Flying Handicap—Paul Beaver 1, Sweet Alice 2, Kaitangata 3.
