Acceptances for all races on iirst day of meeting and entrance for Maiden and Scurry close with the Secretary at Woodville at 8 p.m. on Monday, Bth February, 1909. Weights for all races on second day of meeting will be declared about B.HO o'clock on the evening of the first day's races. Acceptances for second day's races close with the Secretary at the Club's rooms, Woodville, at 9.30 on she evening of the first day's races. PENALTIES. Flat Kaces—The winner of any Hat race (after declaration of weights, if handicapped under Bst lOlbs) to carry lOlbs penalty, and lor every additional race Gibs extra ; if handicapped at Bst lOlbs or over, to carry only half the above penalties. Hurdle Races—The winner of any hurdle race after declaration of weights to carry lOlbs penalty in the hurdle races ; of two or more hurdle races, 211bs penalty. Telegraph office closes at 8 p.m. E.
