NEW MAORI ASSOCIATION.
The objects of the new Maori organisation, as set forth in the constitution of thdir new Young Maori Party, are in every sense laudable, and anything that can be done to improve the physical, int llectual, spiritual, or social condition of the Maori race will surely command the appreciation and gratitude of every public-spirited and right-minded man and woman in the country. The splendid work already done by the original Young Maori Association, which drew its inspiration from the college, is, remarks th 9 Auckland "Styr," a-.i earnest sample of what may be accomplished by such a movement in the higher interests of the native race.
